About Us
The Video Access Alliance is a not-for-profit organization designed to serve as an advocacy and advisory group for independent, emerging and minority networks, internet content providers, independent film producers, video programmers, entertainers, and other industry participants.
The Alliance is focused on promoting policies that encourage rapid and ubiquitous deployment and utilization of new and innovative communications platforms.
The Alliance believes that consumers should have more choices for communications and entertainment services. The Alliance supports the need for more distribution systems and encourages the use of broadband deployment into communities to bring consumers innovative options.
The Alliance encourages multiple platforms for delivering programming, and supports emerging and independent or minority networks seeking outlets for programming, and promotes the elimination of regulatory barriers that would hinder competition, innovation, and greater consumer choice.
